5 Reasons Why You Should Dance !

I Dance to Express Myself, I Dance to Free My Mind , I Dance to Feed My Soul. Dancing is my escape. Dancing makes me Happy, it fuels me. Dancing is not just something I do, dance is life. Now that I shared with you some of the reasons why I dance I would like  to share with you the top 5 reasons why I think you too should dance !

  • Exercise/ Health Benefits:Get fit while having Fun ! What other activity allows you to burn from about 300 to 700 calories in an hour?! please tell me !  Dance is not only a GREAT workout but also a huge stress reliever. Dance helps to strengthen and in flexibility, which helps keep muscles and joints healthy. Dance also keeps both the body and brain active which is vital for every age group.
  • Boost Your Self-Confidence: Shy, Awkward, self-conscious those words wont exist in your vocabulary. Dance increases your confidence  and self esteem because it provides an outlet for self expression and you will find yourself doing things you never imagined you do like standing out on any dance floor.
  • Enhance Your Social Life: If you didn’t have a social life before believe me you will after joining a dance school. From Dance shows, Dance Festivals and congresses to the performances and parties, to the concerts and nights out with fellow dancers and my favorite Birthday celebrations ! There is no scarcity  of events and opportunities to hang out and mingle with friends.
  • Meet and Make New Friends : Your dance team / school becomes your second family. Thanks to dance I have made longtime friends and have made friendships with people in different states and countries. surrounding yourself with positive people who bring healthy energy into your life is priceless.
  • It’s Fun ! : Dancing is simply FUN! Dancing will breath life into your broken soul, it will lift your spirit up and I can guarantee that you will be a much happier person !
